We open the Snack Bar at 5:00. The menu this past week had Hotdogs and BBQs, Chips & Snacks, Homemade Desserts (Yum x 10!),
fresh Popcorn, Soft drinks, bottled water, hot coffee (reg & decaf). Here's a suggestion for those of you who are a little confused or perplexed by the idea of donations: Pat used to ask for a per item donation - as an example, Hotdog, chips & drink combo $7.00. Or, a BBQ sandwich combo for $8.00. Desserts were $4.00 each. So, this should give you a rough idea of what would be fair for a donation. Since Mac's untimely passing this past May, Pat has had to take over the reins and keep everything running. So, it helps her out if you can just ask for what you'd like and then put a donation into the Snack Bar Tip Jar. This way she doesn't have to break stride to make change. (Small bills are deeply appreciated for this!). |
